We will be posting information about our upcoming projects in November, after our current planning cycle ends.

The following are projects which we are now evaluating, and will adopt all or part of. I noted the project value wherever we had a rough idea while visiting these potential project sites in October 2010. Educational - Children
Shenig Village in Armavir Marz
Kindergarten Project
Approximate Value: US$ 50,000
Status:  SEEKING SPONSORSHIP

The existing kindergarten is located in a dilapidated old school building, and cares for 33 children. Another 25 children cannot attend daycare for lack of space. This project will renovate the existing quarters, and will renovate another part of the existing building to enlarge the kindergarten in order to accommodate all the children in the village. The existing kindergarten, although old and falling apart, is well cared for the staff and is clean. This project, besides providing jobs in the renovation phase, will provide for further full time early childhood educator jobs for the foreseeable future; needless to say that when children attend kindergarten, they are much better prepared for grade one.
